Sub-8 Ironman
A top half-Ironman professional before the 2022 season, Rudy made his move up to full Ironman in 2022, winning the top spot on the podium in his debut at Ironman Nice. A solid performance in Kona and 8-hour effort at Ironman Cozumel cemented von Berg's arrival to full Ironman as one of the top professionals in the world. In his first Ironman of the 2023 season, von Berg smashed the 8-hour mark with a commanding 7:44 win at Ironman Texas. This places him in legitimate contention for the win at World Championship at Ironman Nice.
