Three-time ironman champion
A top age-grouper who became a professional in 2020, Ruth Astle is currently ranked 19th in PTO World Rankings. Training out of Leeds in UK, Astle is a powerful cyclist who is quickly closing in on the very top-ranked professionals in the sport. In her two full Ironman competitions in 2021, Ruth won both races by significant margins. She also broke the bike course record in Mallorca. In late 2022, she cracked the top-20 with a dominant win at the inaugural Ironman Israel. 2023 saw a 12th place finish at IM Worlds for Astle. As she looks ahead to 2024, she is firmly focused on a top-5 finish in Nice.
