rudy von berg

Fast-Rising IM 70.3 Specialist.

2019 saw a breakthrough performance and a World Championship

for fast-rising Rudy von Berg. The son of triathlon legend Rodolphe

von Berg Sr., RBV is winning big races at the Middle Distance. In 2021, Rudy has had a stellar year culminating in a win at 2021 IM 70.3 Austria.

Being raised in an elite triathlete family, Rudy has always had Kona firmly implanted in his mind. “As a kid you definitely tell yourself, ‘One day I’ll be here with the top pros to try to win it. Kona will always be the number one race for me in my career.’” While success in Kona may be a few years off yet, Rudy’s rapid progress, race wins and Championship titles over the middle distance suggest that he is well on his way toward realizing his dream.

We look forward to watching the super-telented 27-year-old phenom as he continues to improve in 70.3 and as he enbarks on his long-course journey toward Kona.

Leverage a super high-carbohydrate product

to help enhance late-race energy levels.

Grand Tour cyclists and long-course triathletes both burn anywhere from 7,500 to 12,500 calories during a single event. But triathlon feeding can be a bit trickier. You can’t consume anything during the swim. Nearly all of your intake happens on the bike. The challenge is to consume the right amount of fuel at the right time without risk of gastro issues during the run. Neversecond’s products and guidance system help Adam consume large volumes of carbohydrate without the risk of GI problems.

Work with Rudy to build the optimal nutrition

plan to support his metabolism.

During an 8-hour event, the biggest challenge nutritionally is to intake enough carbohydrate. Generally speaking, we encourage athletes to target 90g of car- bohydrate per hour on longer events like an Ironman. Many athletes historically have a hard time managing this volume out of fear of GI problems. Many max out ay 60g. Neversecond products are formulated to allow athletes to push their carbohydrate limit to 90g with proper testing and gut training. Adam and our other long-course athletes are all firm believers and practicioners of the 90g/hour target.

“With all the brands out there, I never really knew which one would be “the right one” - one that would simply work to get 100% out of my body every time. Neversecond is that for me.”
